California Grill Celebrates 30 Years with a Return to Fan-Favorite Dishes

In honor of its 30th anniversary, California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is bringing back a special selection of beloved dishes from its storied past. Beginning May 15, 2025, guests can enjoy a taste of nostalgia with classic menu items marked with a celebratory “30” symbol. These limited-time offerings will be available through May 2026.

This anniversary menu highlights signature creations that have defined California Grill’s reputation for seasonal, market-inspired cuisine. The returning favorites include:

  • Sonoma Goat Cheese Ravioli – A dish rich with flavor, featuring a ragoût of organic mixed mushrooms, tomato-fennel brodo, and a drizzle of California extra virgin olive oil.

  • Grilled Pork Tenderloin – Served alongside creamy goat cheese polenta, roasted pork belly, organic mushrooms in aged balsamic, and finished with a Zinfandel glaze.

  • Blueberry-Goat Cheese Cheesecake – A visually stunning dessert topped with blueberry meringue, vanilla chantilly, raspberry coulis, and a delicate goat cheese mousse.

  • The Monterey – A signature cocktail made with Licor 43, Pyrat XO Reserve Rum, DOLE® pineapple juice, and house-crafted sour mix.

Chef de Cuisine Matthew Birch noted that these dishes reflect California Grill’s evolving culinary journey, saying, “Each generation of chefs has brought their own creativity while continuing the focus on showcasing peak-season ingredients with integrity and care.”

Since opening its doors in 1995, California Grill has remained one of Walt Disney World’s premier dining destinations. Known for its innovative, market-driven cuisine, award-winning wine list, and breathtaking panoramic views of Magic Kingdom® and Seven Seas Lagoon, the restaurant continues to offer an elevated three-course dining experience. Guests can also enjoy exclusive rooftop access to the iconic “Happily Ever After” fireworks display.
